My sock pattern Shake Your Fishtail uses a delicate short lace repeat that’s easy to memorize for a fun quick knit! Knit up in Fiber Fiend Panda Sock [60% Superwash Merino / 30% Bamboo / 10% Nylon; 382 yd per 100g skein], it’s a great summer knit!

I know right now I only have one color left in stock of Panda Sock, but I have 9.81 lbs. of it sitting in my guest room waiting to be skeined and dyed as soon as my back heals. I also have about 10 lbs. of Shiny Sock (currently sold out) waiting to be skeined and dyed and I have about 6 lbs. of a brand new (!) Superwash Merino DK yarn waiting as well. Here’s hoping tomorrow’s lumbar epidural goes as well as all those other epidurals I hear about! ;)

Shake Your Fishtail
Skill Level: Intermediate
Size: Women’s Medium
Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch

Skills: Decreasing, Knit, Purl, Yarn Overs, Grafting
The above sock is shown in Fiber Fiend Panda Sock in the Amethyst colorway
Thanks to Jill for test knitting!

[Added later] I forgot to mention that you can find more photos of Shake Your Fishtail in the Flickr gallery, and you can find the pattern on Ravelry here!
