I know some of you are thinking, “huh, that bag looks familiar…”
Well, it’s bigger. Much bigger.
Knitting Arts was having a sale last week… 50% off a bunch of yarn! Yes, 50% off!!
I got 2 bags full!
In the first bag is 12 balls of Filatura Di Crosa Zara Plus.
In the second bag is 4 balls of Rowan Yorkshire Tweed DK.
Mmmm…. I really love both of these yarns!
I also picked up a Tunisian Crochet hook (or afghan hook), because after seeing Bella Knitting‘s 3-Color Tunisian Crocheted Pillows, I’d like to try out this technique.
Also, at Bobaknit today, I finished my Sari Silk Super Spiral Shawl!!!!!
You can see ends in this picture that need to be woven in…
After I came home I wove in the ends and wore it out to dinner! I will block it tomorrow and take more photos when it’s dry!

Yay for finishing the shawl! That is such a cool pattern. I can’t wait to see it blocked! I am glad you finally were able to bind off after that crazy yarn breaking 1230985103 times!
And I love the Jitterbug Jay yarn. I got some for myself a few months back. It’s so so lovely!

What did the circumference wind up being on that guy? I know you were debating how large to make it..

Ooh, good deals! The shawl looks cool — the spiral is really very well definied even pre-block, that’s awesome.

The shawl is gorgeous! I got to visit Knitting Arts while they were doing that sale! It was awesome. Oh, and on a really random side note, I knitted the baby thumbhole mittens. Then I came to BobaKnit and we never got a chance to meet. So, HI!
