I am the antithesis of knitting monogomy.  It seems that whenever I finally finish something, I get all excited and want to start 10 new projects.  Well, 3 new projects, so far…

First we have Mother’s Day socks, by request.

The yarn is some 95% merino/5% cashmere I dyed a little while back.  The pattern is my own.

Next up is a new stuffed animal, for my nephew’s first birthday, also in May.

The pattern is from World of Knitted Toys, just like the shark.  I stopped by Purlescence to pick up this yarn, and a few other things… last Wednesday.

Lastly, I started a Super Spiral Shawl (by Meg Swanson in A Gathering of Lace) in the sari silk I got from Yarn Place at Stitches West last year.  I’ve been wanting to make this shawl out of this yarn for quite a while now, so I’m glad I finally got started.  You can’t really tell much from the picture, but it’s going very quickly on size 13 needles!
